Pricka and Storegate launch collaboration

PRESSRELEASE:

With the aim of automating the process of monthly accounts and making it easier for users to save data safely and securely in a Swedish cloud service, Pricka and Storegate are launching a collaboration. The collaboration means that new and existing users can access secure cloud storage via Storegate directly in the Pricka Bokslut software.

Safety is paramount for Pricka

– We know that our users value the security and privacy offered by Storegate’s services, which is why we are pleased to partner with Storegate. We want to be able to offer our customers a service that secures the distribution of their monthly accounts through a simple and smooth sharing using mobile BankID. In this way, we contribute to a further simplification of the monthly accounting process, says Lars Henrik Fritz, CEO of Pricka AB.

The need for Swedish cloud services to store data within Sweden’s borders is growing. With recent revelations concerning both business and national security, the debate and tone have never been higher.

The invalidation of the Privacy Shield is becoming increasingly clear for both the private and public sectors. The Swedish Data Protection Authority has begun to impose fines and now most companies are turning a blind eye when it comes to cloud services. Here it is important to choose a safe supplier that follows the same jurisdiction as where the company operates, says Torbjörn Lindkvist at Storegate AB.
