In January, we will release the new version of Storegate’s more advanced backup client, Pro Backup 2.0, which is used in the Backup Server service.
Cloud-to-cloud
In addition to a number of improvements to scheduling and management of various assignments, it is now also possible to back up external cloud services. Currently supported services include Amazon S3, Box, Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage, Openstack, Microsoft Azure, OneDrive and Rackspace.

In addition, there is support for backing up the entire disk (full image copy) directly in the program, as well as the possibility of backing up on FTP, SFTP and WebDAV servers. The logging functionality has also been improved with notification for better monitoring.
Storegate Pro Backup 2.0 will be released on January 22 and is included for all customers who purchase the Backup Server service.
