It has never been easier to have full control over your files even after you have sent them. With our unique file-sharing service, you can control who has access to a shared file or folder.

By entering the recipient’s social security number and full name when creating your public distribution, you can be 100% sure that the right information is assigned to the right person. The recipient must verify their identity with their BankID or Freja eID.

The right information to the right recipient

All Storegate users can create distributions of documents and folders from their account. To secure and control the documents you share with others, eID is a good tool to use.

Both password protection and eID help prevent your classified information from being assigned to the wrong recipient. When you choose to share a file with either of these security features, only the correct recipient can access the contents of your handout.

In addition, you also decide how long the file sharing will last. You can set an expiration date for when the link will no longer be active and see exactly how many times the share has been opened. More information such as who edited, renamed and saved can be found in the event log of your account.
