Hello Mattias Jönsson – Storegate’s kind-hearted and wise CTO
Our technical manager Mattias lives in the center of Karlshamn, almost next door to the city’s artificial turf field. He is responsible for the company’s IT operations and system development. Taking on the role of coach and driving his team forward is Mattias’ superpower. It doesn’t matter if it’s at work or in IFK Karlshamn’s football association, which he volunteers for. He has a big heart both for the association and for his work with us.
We at Storegate are like a big family and we are happy to let our customers and partners into that warmth. We have a strong customer focus and everyone is passionate about doing their best to ensure that our users are satisfied and get the most out of our services. The absolute best thing about Storegate is all our sharp and talented employees.
Every day, Mattias organizes a short morning meeting with all staff to kick-start the working day. He checks if there is anything special happening during the day and takes the opportunity to cheer on all employees. A normal working day for him often consists of various project meetings to reconcile the situation and to drive the work forward with the various projects we have going on right now. Project management is therefore a big part of Mattias’ role here at Storegate.
I like working in a dynamic environment where there is a lot going on, and at Storegate you get to work with many different things. This is thanks to our different business areas where we both sell directly to end customers and deliver our platform to larger customers as a system supplier.
From the very beginning, Mattias started his journey in IT as a system developer and architect at Volvo in Olofström. He then switched to us at Storegate and has now been part of the team for almost 13 years. He is a valuable asset to the company and with his unique talent for juggling he fits like a glove with us. A very useful talent when he has many balls in the air. Like right now, when there are many exciting things going on within the company.
