Advania and Storegate have signed an agreement for a new unique cloud storage concept – Storegate Enterprise. Storegate Enterprise means that Advania installs Storegate’s cloud storage platform (SOSA Storegate Online Storage Application) in one of their Swedish data centers. This gives Advania the opportunity to take full responsibility towards its customers for Storegate’s services.
– Storegate delivers cloud services for secure storage of digital information directly to end customers under its own brand and so-called white label solutions to operators and service providers who want to offer Storegate’s services under their own brand. But the cooperation agreement and concept for Storegate Enterprise is something completely new. This is the first time we have agreed on an external installation with our own brand,” says Matz Karlsson, CEO of Storegate AB.
Storegate has been offering cloud services for secure storage since 2003. Customers are located both in the Nordic region and on a global market and can be anything from smaller to larger companies, and as in this case, service providers. Advania is a Swedish Service Provider that specializes in customers with high demands on availability and security.
– It is difficult for us to reach out with our services to larger companies as they usually choose an IT partner for the entire delivery, sometimes entire workplaces. Through our collaboration, Storegate’s services will be included as part of Advania’s range in their newly launched Cloud portal Advania Marketplace for Enterprise. The fact that Advania also stores customers’ files in one of its Swedish data centers means that Storegate’s services are included in Advania’s operation with 24×7 commitment, says Matz Karlsson.
