A range of new smart functions for securing, storing and sharing files are now being launched for Visma customers. The service is called Storegate and has long been available to customers with service agreements. Over 40,000 Visma customers have already activated Storegate for secure backup of digital information.
– We see that the interest in sharing and collecting files has increased in connection with the GDPR imposing new requirements on how to transfer personal data. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that we are giving Visma’s customers the opportunity to do just that in a Swedish cloud. We are not only releasing new features, we are also launching a deeper integration. It is very positive that Visma chooses to tie the service more closely to its customers and that they can now use the same login information on Storegate as they have on My Services, says Torbjörn Lindkvist, Account Manager at Storegate. “It is a major upgrade that is taking place. New backup program, new web interface, new mobile apps, integration with Microsoft Office Online, and Storegate Map Drive that makes it possible to work with files directly in the cloud. In connection with the upgrade, a facelift is also taking place in terms of all user interfaces, concludes Torbjörn Lindkvist.
With the new Storegate, Visma customers get:
- A brand new web interface
- Share and collect large files & folders
- Storegate Backup (new program replacing AutoStore)
- Open Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents directly in the browser
- Storegate Map Drive (drive letter in the explorer)
- Accessing files via mobile
- Event log (GDPR support)
- 1 GB Secure storage
- Storage in Sweden under Swedish legislation
- Possibility to log in via vismaspcs.se with the same login details as for My Services
