In accordance with recommendations from the Swedish Privacy Protection Authority (IMY), eSam’s report now gives the green light to public organizations to use Storegate’s Swedish cloud service. This means that Storegate is one of the suppliers in the report that meets the requirements specification for document storage.
Swedish public sector organizations and municipalities have been waiting for the report that eSam published today on November 18, 2021. The report was first planned to be published in October but was postponed due to the comments received during the consultation process.
Storegate solution approved in eSam report
We are extremely pleased and proud that we at Storegate have been selected as an approved solution in the report from eSam. It shows that we as a Swedish cloud service provider can offer public and private organizations a reliable and GDPR-secure service for document storage and sharing of digital information, says Matz Karlsson, CEO of Storegate.
With Storegate’s cloud service, Swedish authorities do not have to worry about the risks of transparency from foreign powers through, for example, regulations such as the CLOUD Act, FISA 702 or the invalidation of the Privacy Shield.
